14/02/09 at 08:58 Original HST125 On The WCML

photo image flickr

A cracking shot of a HST125 train on the West Coast Mainline heading north. The train, 43 071, at Taylors Lane, south of Wigan. Entered service in Dec 1977 and it was damaged in a collision in 1994. Repaired and named ‘Forward Birmingham’ in 1996. Its a great shot of the six lane high way of rail track, I am sure you would have plenty of shots if you took you camera to that bridge.
