22/01/09 at 08:57 Class 150 Running Through A Snowy Pass
A really awesome shot of a Class 150 passenger train at Hazel Grove. Shown are a Class 150/2 unit no. 150222 and Class 150/1 no. 150146 arriving at Hazel Grove with the 1423 service from Preston. Class 180 ‘Adelante’ units recently acquired by Northern Rail are due to take over this service soon. The perspective on this shot makes it really stand out. I wish there was a higher resolution shot.

Train Information
Class 150 a Super Sprinter Diesel Multiple Unit. Built in the late 80's they are still in service today and provide a reliable service in most parts of the UK. They are slowly being phased out with newer classes. The images shows classes 150222 and 150146.
Photo Information
The perspective and the foreground of the train is just right in this shot. Its clever how the image fades away to a more complex function. The colour signals in the foreground really make this image pop.
