26/01/09 at 08:57 Grand Central Flying Pass Darlington
A lovely morning shot of a Grand Central HST 225 Number 43065 at Darlington. The frosty white background really sets ofs the train as it speeds past. Grand Central are a new train company operating under the Open Access rules. They run from Sunderland to London’s Kings Cross. Although there isn’t many trains accompanying this fleet, you do regularly see them. If you go into your York during the day you tend to find one sitting in the station. Grand Central trains tend to wait ages at York as it is the last stop before London.

Photo Information
Great shot, nicely taken. There is quite a bit of noise when you zoom right in. Its a shame there isn't any exif data associated with the photo. It would be nice to see what settings were used.
